EYE REACH
Adarsh Charitable Foundation
WHO World Report on Vision (2019)
OUR MISSION
Our Mission is to find cost effective sustainable solutions to help alleviate preventable vision impairment in the world, providing equal opportunities to all.
OUR VISION
Our Vision at Adarsh Charitable Foundation is a world where everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic status or geographic location, has access to quality eye care and where preventable causes of vision loss are eliminated.
OUR VALUES
The barriers include:
Availability, Accessibility, Affordability

A shortage of eye care providers is the greatest barrier in solving vision impairment problem.

Significant shortfall in the current and projected ophthalmologists.

Inequitable distribution of ophthalmologists with in developing countries.
We realize the only way to make a difference in solving this daunting task of reducing preventable vision impairment is to find paths to train and retain locals to serve their own communities. Furthermore, we believe in creating efficiencies by using a vertically integrated model of eye care. We will train optometrists and ancillary staff to help provide basic eye care needs and use the limited ophthalmologist resources for surgeries and managing complex disease. We will leverage the newest technologies and Al to access remote areas.
To that end we are partnering with NGOs and non-profitable institutions such as Belize Council of Visual Impairment (BCVI) in Belize, Visualiza in Guatemala and Indian Heritage Research Foundation (IHRF) in India.

During the COVID shutdown and observing firsthand the racial disparities and their deleterious effect on health and education, the foundation has diversified its focus to helping locally in Louisville as well. We have partnered with West End School in 2021. We are not only helping a great cause financially, but we are also working towards learning and replicating the model at other places. Over the next few years, we are hoping to establish relationships with two or three local entities to help the West End of Louisville. Adarsh Charitable Foundation is a 501(C)(3) Nonprofit registered in the US under EIN: 83-2843218
